Allingdale —
One man is dead and another woman injured after a vehicle crash on Route 20 in Allingdale just after 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department.
Tony Allen Lough, 25, of Craigsville, suffered fatal injuries from the crash. Police say he was driving a 2007 Pontiac G-6 when he apparently crossed into the opposite lane of traffic, striking a 1997 Ford F-150.
The driver of the truck, Patricia Doverspike, 65, of Richwood, was air-flighted to Charleston Area Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
This accident is still under investigation by Deputy D.W. Motta with the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department.
