A Michigan man has been arrested on drug charges stemming from a drug task force investigation, according to Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
Michael C. Traver, 26, of Detroit, was arrested Sunday on felony charges of delivering a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony.
He was arraigned through Fayette County Magistrate Court and remanded to Southern Regional Jail on $100,000 bond.
Members of the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force obtained a search warrant for a residence on Gatewood Road near Oak Hill.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Fayette County deputies and CWVDTF officers executed the search warrant and secured all subjects who were at the residence.
A quantity of heroin was located, as well as a large sum of cash.
This incident remains under investigation by the CWVDTF.
