Copper pipes stolen from vacant residence

BECKLEY — Approximately $1,100 worth of copper pipes was stolen from a vacant home for sale on Lambert Street, according to Beckley Police.

Lt. D.R. Farley said someone broke into the vacant home June 21 and cut multiple copper pipes in the basement.

No suspects have been identified, but police are still investigating.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Beckley Police Department at 304-256-1708 or CrimeStoppers at 304-255-STOP.
