State Police say they executed a search warrant in Hinton after a city resident was charged with an attempted Internet sex crime in Pennsylvania.
Joseph J. McComas, 33, of Hinton, was charged with attempted procurement of a child for sexual exploitation through use of the Internet.
The Fayette County (Pa.) Sheriff’s Department arrested McComas.
Last Friday, Cpl. D.C. Eldridge of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force and state troopers in Hinton assisted Pennsylvania sheriff’s deputies with a search warrant issued after McComas’ arrest.
