The man police say is responsible for a Monday evening mugging at Walgreens on Robert C. Byrd Drive has been arrested.
Michael Andrew Blair, 28, of Beckley, was detained Tuesday at a business located on Carriage Drive after police received a tip on his whereabouts, said Beckley Police Capt. Jeff Shumate.
According to initial reports from the Raleigh County EOC, Blair pushed a female customer to the ground in the parking lot around 5:30 p.m. and took her money.
Blair was charged with second-degree robbery and set to appear before a Raleigh County Magistrate Tuesday afternoon, Shumate said.
