— Planet Green, a California-based recycling company, offers a chance to raise funds while helping to save the environment.

By collecting recyclable items, such as used printer ink cartridges or old cell phones, and mailing them to Planet Green, free of charge, you or your organization could earn up to $75 per submission.

This recycling program is great for schools, organizations, businesses or individuals who want to raise funds for causes they care about while helping to save the environment.

Simply get registered at www.planetgreenrecycle.com. Pack 20 or more accepted items into a used box, then download and attach a free pre-paid shipping label from the Planet Green website and drop with UPS.

Payments are processed within 10 business days upon receipt of your items. According to the website, each submission averages between $40 to $75. The more you work as a team, the more you collect and the quicker you can reach your goals.

“Only by working together can we make a difference.”

A full list of acceptable ink cartridges, cell phones, and small electronics are listed online.

Planet Green was founded in 2000 to help stop the estimated 2.5 million tons of electronic waste that ends up in landfills each year. This program has helped keep millions of pounds of e-waste out of landfills, while raising over $40 million to date.
