BECKLEY — Two Pineville residents were arrested following a burglary at a Mullens apartment building, according to Mullens Police Chief Ray Toler.

Jason Lee Manor, 32, was charged with nighttime burglary. Manor was free on bond from felony charges in Oceana, Toler said.

Christy Rena Walls, 32, was charged with accessory to nighttime burglary, according to Toler.

Both Manor and Walls remained in Southern Regional Jail Friday morning, the police chief said.

Officers recovered the stolen items within a couple of hours of the crime, Toler said. The two were reportedly visiting friends in the apartment where the burglary took place, according to Toler.

Also participating in the investigation were Mullens Police Officer Jack Meadows and Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies Shane White, J.W. Clemmins, and Kenny Wallen.

The investigation is continuing.
