Jaeden Blake, 5, son of Norman and Melissa Blake of Beckley, scrunches close to look at a wasp nest built on a window frame at Pinecrest Hospital in Beckley.
Jaeden is enrolled in the summer camp program at YMCA Happy Kids Pre-School in Beckley. Students from Rosetta Jackson’s and LeeAnn Phoebus’ class visited Pinecrest to look at the hive Thursday.
Pinecrest Administrator Angie Booker served cookies and milk to the kids after they’d viewed the wasps through the glass.
