West Virginia Division of Highways announces that U.S. 219 in Lewisburg, near the intersection of CR 30, Brush Road, will be subject to a lane closure on Tuesday, according to Greg Hylton, District Nine Construction Engineer.
A contractor will be repairing a gas line, near that intersection which will result in southbound traffic being shifted into the left turn lane, through the work area between the hours of 7 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices and use caution while traveling through the work zone. Delays are expected; therefore, motorists should allow additional time for their commute or seek alternate routes.
The roadway is expected to re-open Wednesday. However; please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
