'Every Bagel Counts' in October at Panera

BECKLEY — Panera Bread will host a special event called “Every Bagel Counts” throughout October to raise funds for the West Virginia Susan G. Komen fight against breast cancer.

Pink Ribbon Bagels, shaped just like the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon, will be baked at Panera and proceeds from each bagel will go toward finding a cure. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 100 percent of the Pink Ribbon Bagel proceeds will benefit the West Virginia Susan G. Komen Foundation. For the rest of the month, from Oct. 2-31, a portion of the Pink Ribbon Bagel proceeds will benefit the foundation.

Pre-orders can be made online at wifi.covelli.com/ panera/gopinkwv. Bagel packs, or 13 Pink Ribbon Bagels, with two cream cheese tubs are $15.99 per pack. Cream cheese flavors are plain and reduced-fat plain, hazelnut, honey walnut, blueberry, chive and onion and roasted vegetable medley.

A baker’s dozen without cream cheese is $10.99.
