Church to celebrate Easter with grand opening

Register-Herald Reporter

LEWISBURG — Lewisburg Baptist Church will celebrate Easter Sunday in a brand new building, and the entire community is invited to join in the celebration.

Sunday morning services will begin at 10:50, immediately following Sunday school classes for all ages, which start at 10.

In a message posted on the church’s website, Pastor Jonathan Comer describes Lewisburg Baptist as a “Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church.”

His message continues, “We make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. God’s Word provides the only solid foundation on which to build your life. All else will fail.”

Located at 246 Grand Avenue, just to the side of the Gateway Commons commercial development, the new church complex also houses the Lewisburg Baptist Academy, a K-12 private school accredited by the West Virginia Association of Christian Schools and the American Association of Christian Schools.
