GLEN DANIEL — Kevin “Showboat” Jackson, middle, shows off some of his ball-handling skills during player introductions of the Harlem Superstars Monday night at Liberty High School. Offering a fresh philosophy on the type of comedic showtime basketball that the Harlem Globetrotters pioneered, the Superstars’ mainly do school visitations and fundraisers, mixing motivational speaking with a fun basketball environment. The show featured fan-to-player interactions, trick shots, high-flying slam dunks and plenty of laughs. In front of a huge crowd, the Superstars played against a team made up of Liberty teachers, police officers, firemen, students and other locals.
