BECKLEY —
One man was killed when his truck collided with a tractor-trailer near Ghent Thursday night, authorities said.
The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. when 60-year-old Gary Edward McGrady of Rocky Gap, Va., collided with the semi as it was merging onto West Virginia Turnpike from the Ghent interchange, Sate Police Cpl. J.B. Hunt.
McGrady later died from injuries sustained in the wreck, Hunt said. The driver of the semi was not injured.
