BECKLEY — Three former employees of Buffalo Wild Wings in Beckley have filed separate civil suits against the restaurant, alleging that they were discriminated against due to race.

Xavier Stewart, Jevone Fortune and Charlton Francis are asking for unspecified  compensatory and punitive damages, interest, fees and costs in a suit filed Nov. 12 in Raleigh County Circuit Court.

The three men say they were subjected to unwelcome physical contact and abusive language while they were employed as kitchen workers at the Beckley restaurant. They were fired once they reported the treatment, the three former workers allege in the suits.

The suit names the Ohio-based Mountain View Investors, dba as Buffalo Wild Wings, and Carey Keilitz of Alderson, individually and as store manager.
