Power company schedules Wednesday service outage

NEOLA — Mon Power will have a scheduled service disruption in the Neola area of Greenbrier County Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.,  Greenbrier County 911 Center Director Al Whitaker announced.

He explained that the outage, which will affect about 980 customers, is necessary to perform emergency repairs in the Alvon Substation located on Rt. 92 just north of White Sulphur Springs.

Areas affected will include Neola, Alvon and Sherwood Lake, Wades Draft Road, Driftwood, Leisure Valley, Rucker Gap, Knife Hollow, and Ted Macks Campground.
