Vehicle accidents reported in Raleigh

BECKLEY — Two motor vehicle accidents were reported to the Raleigh County 911 center Saturday evening.

A vehicle struck a tree on Rockhouse Road in Fairdale, two miles past Holly Hills, at 6:25 p.m. One of the vehicle’s occupants was transported to Raleigh General Hospital, with the West Virginia State Police, Jancare and Trap Hill Fire Departments all responding to the scene. The patient’s condition is unknown at this time.

On Raleigh Ridge Road, about two miles from Fitzpatrick Road, a van rolled over at approximately 7:15 p.m. The Beaver Fire Department, Mabscott Fire Department, Jan-Care Ambulance and the Raleigh Sheriff’s Office responded. No injuries were reported.
