— The 34th annual YMCA International Dinner will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center, with culinary delights from all around the world.

Advance tickets are now available at the YMCA Welcome Center, $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 6 to 18. Tickets purchased the day of the event will be $15 for adults and $10 for youth. Children age 5 and under will be admitted free of charge.

“Each year, we look forward to seeing the crowd grow and the number of hosts increase,” said Health and Fitness Director Reginia Thomas.

“We’ve had a great response from restaurants and community members so far. This year we have Italian, Mediterranean, Indian, Irish, Polish, Chinese, and classic American food on the menu, and attendees will be able to sample everything from appetizers to entrées and desserts.”

The event is sponsored by Raleigh General Hospital, and the proceeds will benefit YMCA youth programs locally and abroad.
