LEWISBURG —
Police have released the identity of the man found deceased near Mt. Tabor Church in Lewisburg last Friday.
Lewisburg Police Chief Tim Stover said Thomas Daniel Cardis, 40, of Sheperdstown, formerly of Lewisburg, was found in an alleyway between True Value Hardware and Mt. Tabor Church.
Police do not suspect foul play and the body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner for autopsy.
The incident is still under investigation by Detective Cpl. J.A. Vance of the Lewisburg Police Department.
