Thanks to donors, Mac’s Toy Fund party is today

Today is the day. The day that Mac’s Toy Fund holds its 78th annual distribution party at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention. For those who received tickets from the Department of Health and Human Resources, doors will open about 8:30 a.m.

Monetary donations to help pay for the toys given away at today’s party will be accepted through the end of the year.

Following are the most recent donations to Mac’s Toy Fund:

- Anonymous, $25

- Wanda Mays of Beckley, $25

- New Hope Baptist Church of Beckley, $100

- Anonymous, $20

- Jared and Ryan Riffe of Daniels, in memory of paternal grandfather Noel “Babe” Riffe and maternal grandmother, Myra Crotty. “You are both missed greatly by all children and grandchildren.” $100

- Steve and Nancy Paugh of Beaver, in memory of Brenda, $50

- Buzz and Judy Ragland, for grandchildren Logan and Chase Ragland, $100

- Ronald and Linda Lester of Ikes Fork, $50

- Michael Smith of Cyclone, $10

- Sophia United Methodist Church, $25

- Aaron and Diana Jones of Daniels, in honor of grandson Ian Jones, $100
