Home delivery rate to change beginning Dec. 1

— During the past four years at Beckley Newspapers, we have experienced major increases in the cost of doing business, particularly in the areas of distribution and overall operations.
We have done our best to absorb these costs during that time period, but now, in order for us to continue providing you with a quality newspaper, we ask you to understand our need to raise your monthly home delivery subscription rate by $1, from $13.95 to $14.95.
This new rate, which will help the newspaper and the contract carrier force to offset rising costs, will take effect Dec. 1.
