Missing teen returns home safe, detective says

Register-Herald Reporter

A missing teenage girl has been found unharmed, Beckley police said.

Kaitlynd Victoria Cleer, 16, of Beckley, returned to her parents’ home Saturday night and on her own accord, Detective Cpl. Sam McClure said. She was not hurt.

Cleer went missing Oct. 25 after her mother dropped her off at the movies at the Beckley Galleria, McClure said. She was not at the Galleria when her mother returned to pick her up.

Police were not informed that Cleer had returned home until Wednesday, McClure said.
