Firefighters battle blaze at abandoned house

— Raleigh County firefighters battled a blaze at an abandoned house — reportedly fully engulfed — Friday night, authorities said.
The fire on Ford Street in Raleigh was reported around 8:45 p.m., according to the Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center. Firefighters had just arrived on scene, but told dispatchers the abandoned house was fully engulfed in flames.
The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department was the lead agency at the scene, according to the EOC. No further information was available Friday night.
