Greenbrier County man indicted on child porn charges

SUMMERSVILLE — A Nicholas County grand jury this week indicted a Greenbrier County man on multiple felony counts of having child pornography in his possession.

Charles Wiseman Jr., 34, of Rupert, was indicted on 15 counts of possessing material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Wiseman is accused of having pictures on his person of a minor child naked and in sexual positions. The pictures were found in April when Wiseman was stopped for a traffic offense by sheriff’s Deputy Tom Baker, authorities said.

If found guilty, Wiseman faces up to two years in prison for each count.

Other indictments included:

George McCartney, 50, of Webster Springs, third-degree sexual assault.

Richard Workman, 40, of Summersville, five counts each of first-degree sexual abuse and sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian.

Travis Lemar Hickman, 27, of Camden-on-Gauley, burglary and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Rachel Martin Attia, 35, of Mount Nebo, attempting to disarm a police officer.

Jack Jenkins II, 36, of Gassaway, possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

Larry Lee Morehead, 42, of Mount Lookout, two counts of first-degree sexual assault.

Bernard Harlow, 68, of Craigsville, delivery of a controlled substance.

Charles Otis Cunnigham Jr., 40, of Summersville, two counts of delivery of an imitation controlled substance and one count of delivery of a non-narcotic controlled substance.

Roger Lee Williams, 30, of Summersville, daytime burglary, entering without breaking, two counts each of grand larceny and obtaining goods or service by false pretenses using a common scheme, and nine counts each forgery and uttering.

Dencil Hershman, 50, of Birch River, delivery of a non-narcotic controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a non-narcotic controlled substance.

Pamela Bess, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

Billy J. Belcher, 25, of Craigsville, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and breaking and entering.

Stephen Paul Dorsey Jr., possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiring to manufacture meth.

Tamela L. Kyer, 46, of Richwood, six counts each of forgery and uttering.

Franklin D. Overbaugh, breaking and entering.

Timothy W. Wilson, 40, of Calvin, fleeing from an officer while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

n Homer Glen Williams, second-offense purchasing more than three packages of pseudoephedrine within a 30-day period.

Anthony Wayne Wood, possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture meth.
