NRCTC brings Zumba craze to Beckley

— New River Community and Technical College is bringing an international dance craze to Beckley.
Zumba, a Latin-inspired dance aerobics, has become a revolution over the past few years.
It’s currently the most influential movement in the fitness industry, according to www.zumba.com, the official Zumba Web site.
“As a community college, we want to reach out and do a variety of things that are personal enrichment,” said Mary Igo, program specialist for continuing education courses at NRCTC. “We want to encourage everyone to experience lifelong learning.
“We’re pretty excited. We’ve had a lot of success in the past doing all kinds of classes in Summersville.”
