A pedestrian crossing the street in downtown Lewisburg was injured just before noon Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle, police said.
The as-yet unidentified woman was attempting to cross Jefferson Street when she was struck by a two-door pickup truck, Lewisburg Detective J.A. Vance said Wednesday. The female was transported to Greenbrier Valley Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Vance said the investigation is ongoing and no tickets were issued at the scene of the accident
