Wyoming County woman killed in wreck identified

— Raleigh County sheriff’s deputies have identified the Wyoming County woman killed in a Wednesday morning collision in Fairdale, and a second woman involved remained in critical condition.
Kathy Sams, 54, of Cyclone, was killed in the Bolt Road (W.Va. 99) wreck, Chief Deputy Dave Stafford said.
Tina Parsons, 28, of Cyclone, remained in critical condition at Charleston Area Medical Center Thursday night.
Stafford said Parsons attempted to pass a vehicle and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Leonard Price, 39, of Oak Hill.
Sams was a passenger in the Tiburon, Stafford said.
Parsons was flown from the scene to Charleston.
Price was released at the scene with no reported injuries.
