A woman has been charged with stabbing her boyfriend after a domestic dispute at a Raleigh County apartment complex, authorities said.
Holly Goodson, 25, of Mount Hope, was charged with malicious wounding, sheriff’s Capt. Gordon Gregory said. Goodson was taken into custody after the Thursday morning incident and was later released from Southern Regional Jail on bond. Bond was originally set at $100,000.
Around 4 a.m. Thursday, Goodson and her boyfriend, 49-year-old Mount Hope resident Boyd Miller, had a domestic dispute at Oakmont Greene Apartments, located in the Bradley area, Gregory said. Apparently, Miller tried to leave after the dispute. Goodson did not want Miller to go, so she stabbed him, Gregory said.
Miller was stabbed twice, in the shoulder and back, Gregory said.
Deputy R.L. Talley investigated the incident and arrested Goodson at the scene, Gregory said.
