Obama to make campaign stop in Beckley Thursday

— Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will campaign in Beckley Thursday, according to a notice from his campaign office.
Details of the visit have not yet been released, but they will be posted on the newspaper’s Web site, www.register-herald.com, as soon as they become available.
Thursday’s visit will be the senator’s first in West Virginia since he began campaigning for the nomination.
He has received the support of Rep. Nick Rahall and Sen. Jay Rockefeller, both D-W.Va.
