ACE: Mountain Music Festival a big success
We at ACE Adventure Resort would like to thank our guests and the citizens of southern West Virginia for making our first Mountain Music Festival a splendid success. More than 1,000 spectators turned out for the three-day celebration of music — a celebration we now intend to make an annual event.
We’d also like the thank Congressman Nick Rahall and Amy Shuler Goodwin, director of the West Virginia Division of Tourism, and Kimberly Moss of the governor’s office, for opening our festival ground, and Sen. Bill Laird and delegates John Pino and Margaret Staggers for their participation and support.
We’d also like to thank Oak Hill mayor Mary Lou Holt and city manager Bill Hannabass and other Fayette County dignitaries who were able to attend the opening ceremonies and the staff and members of the chambers of commerce for Fayette and Raleigh counties and to the members of the media who were able to attend the event.
Of course, we’d also like to express our gratitude to our own staff and to the musicians and technicians who carried out such outstanding performances. With so much positive feedback from all who were involved, we are already making plans for our next event.
