A message to President Obama
To Sen. Manchin:
I was born in West Virginia in the year 1941. My father’s name was Carl O’Neal. He died on Feb. 2, 1963, at the age of 52. He taught me a lot in a short amount of time. The saying “Where’s there’s little known, there’s little required!”
Mr. Manchin, please take a moment and thank President Obama for me and relay this message to him.
Mr. Obama, after 51 years you have proved my dad’s saying to be right, right as right can be. Another old-timer’s saying is this: “Don’t do as I do, but do as I tell you to do!”
Mr. Obama, you say helpers in the House have dropped the ball. I am sorry to say this, sir, but you don’t stay in Washington, D.C., long enough to see a ball! How could you catch it? The way you run all over the world, you are personally bankrupting our country.
Please stop, look and think about your last trip. You wasted $100 million of our country’s money. Money we don’t have! Park “my” jet plane; OK, I will say “our” jet plane. I will tell you, you are a good talker, but not a good doer.
Mr. Obama, you are the president. How? I do not know. See the stop sign ahead? Please STOP wasting our (we the people’s) tax money before it is too late. Thus far, you are 90 percent short of doing what needs done for this country.
Thank you for your time in reading this letter and hopefully for your future efforts to do as you promised and make America prosper, not fail!
Daniel Lee O’Neal
