You and I cannot change the truth

If you believe in God, read this. If you do not believe in God, suit yourself.

There is so much talk today about homosexuality, or being gay, I cannot hold my peace any longer.

My sister always used to tell me, Jamie, what if they were born that way? As I would tell my sister, if they were born this way (which I doubt very much), then they were born with a handicap. Same as being born with no sight, legs, arms and so on. It is a handicap one would have to live with. One “cannot” practice that type of life and be pleasing to God.

Do you believe God? Do you believe the Bible? Remember, God says what he means and means what he says. Nothing in the Bible could be more plain than God’s condemnation of this lifestyle.

If you choose to ignore what God says about this lifestyle, why not just ignore all God says? We cannot pick and choose. We cannot make our own rules. Ones that suit us, and just ignore what we want to.

If one practices this lifestyle, they cannot enter heaven any more than a murderer, thief or an adulterer. Do I know anyone that lives this lifestyle? Yes, many. They are peaceful, carnal, law-abiding citizens. But can I have a close personal relationship with them? No. No more than I could have a close personal relationship with anyone that tramples under foot God’s teaching. I feel sorrow for them and wish they would change their sinful lifestyle.

This country was founded on the principles set forth in God’s word. But more and more every day, our leaders are turning from this. Not only in respect to the recognition of gay marriage, but we are on a slippery downhill slope.

I am very well aware that some who read this will hate me. But I love you and pray to God that you would change and accept God and his teachings. If you do not believe what I have said, open your Bible and read, among others, these passages: Genesis 19:1-28, Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:24-32, I Corinthians 6:9-10, Genesis 2:18-24, Matthew 19:4-6 and Ephesians 5:22-29.

Remember. Truth is truth. I cannot change it. You cannot change it.
