Thanks for supporting children’s fundraiser
On Aug. 31, the Harper Road Kroger store hosted a Fall Festival and Tailgating fundraiser to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and the WVU Children’s Hospital. The event was a great success, and we would like to thank all the members of the community that came out to enjoy the event.
We are also grateful for the hard work and support of Kroger employees, their families and friends who helped plan and run the event. In addition to the hard work put in by those involved, we could not have had any such success without the aid of local businesses that donated to our cause.
We would like to express our gratitude to ACE Adventure Resort, Bodyworks, Brier Patch Golf Links, Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola Co., Eastern Ice, Frito-Lay, Gone Country, Grandview Country Store, Heiner’s, Hidden Valley Golf Course, Image Makers;
Joan Stevens (Mary Kay), Johnsonville, Leisure Lanes, Logan’s Roadhouse, Marquee Cinemas, McDonald’s, Mountain Eagle, Mountain State Miniature Golf, Outback Steakhouse, Penn Station East Coast Subs, Pepsi, Priddy’s;
Purity/Flowers, Rex’s Barber Shop, Splashes of Young Color, Starbucks, Steak Escape - Crossroads Mall, Sweet Frogs and the YMCA of Southern West Virginia.
We would also like to thank Cody Wickline, Jason Lockhart and John Covey for providing musical entertainment to festival-goers.
We really appreciate your help and support, and I would like to encourage your readers to consider these wonderful establishments when you are seeking any of the goods and services they provide.
