Manchin not defending Constitution, W.Va.

Give up your guns, boys; Sen. Joe Manchin is in town.

D.C., that is.

So, Joe, how are those pats on the back?

Are you fitting in with those in Washington, D.C.?

The people here at home in West Virginia want to remind you of your oath of office. That is that you will swear to protect, preserve and defend the Constitution.

Did you listen to the people of West Virginia about gun legislation, or were those bright lights that you saw?

The people of our state are loyal Americans, and we believe in a constitutional republic government.

Senator, are you protecting the Second Amendment?

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

Are you preserving the Fourth Amendment?

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the person or things to be seized.”

And sir, are you defending the 10th Amendment?

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”

Common sense gun control is still gun control.

The only part lacking is the common sense.
