Will we come to our senses? Probably not

There is a saying that if you put a frog into a pot of hot water he will jump out, but if you place him in a pot of cold water and slowly increase the heat, he will not jump out even when the water boils and kills him.

Are we behaving as frogs in the light of the past and present since 9/11?

Our government lies to us continually and when their hand is shown, they only deny and spin the revelation into something less alarming. Congress was briefed on activities of the National Security Agency’s practice of collecting millions and millions of bits of data on our phones and Internet and did not object.

Our government now views its citizens as potential terrorists and places special emphasis on our honorable veterans. We are frogs in a pot watching as our government literally parallels the actions of every fascist and communist government of the past.

Will we come to our senses before it’s too late? I don’t think so. Our population is diversely divided on every issue. False flags have been used to distract and confuse until most are now blissfully ignorant. Apathy, complacence, call it what you will, actions are occurring that will reach a tipping point where we as citizens will be unable to stop, much less reverse, government’s control over us.

When you renew your post office box rent, two forms of identity must be shown for each person receiving mail at that box. The government is making sure that each adult person in this country can be located. Why? They will say to protect us. I ask, what will protect us from the government?

Second Amendment fights continue across the country. With each victory for gun rights movements, local and state governments enact more unconstitutional laws that must be fought. Our high court will not clearly define our rights in any one case as they should.

It’s clear the judiciary of this country, who will sign off on any type of search warrant, is all about supporting the U.S. government’s agenda of turning this country into a police state. With over 4,500 criminal laws on the federal books, you can be fined or imprisoned for almost anything.

Years ago members of the Congress voiced concerns over what was called the underground economy. Looks like they finally found a way to act as the Beast in controlling who may buy, sell or trade without following their rules.
