Sexual orientation not worth news coverage

Well, I don’t know where to start. The first thing this morning, April 30, I look at the sports pages and on top of one page, the headline is about a ballplayer letting the world know he’s gay.

I called the paper and left the sports department a message, that I was upset, that we have come to this point that it’s necessary for a person to proclaim to the world that he’s sinful and, of all things, the paper thinks it is newsworthy.

So, I thought I would write and let everyone know that I’m a heterosexual and I encourage everyone to let the paper know about their sexuality. I guess it’s newsworthy.

Sentence not fair to taxpayers, police

So, Gabriella Brown got by with compromising maybe hundreds of cases by stealing narcotics with four years probation. Poor thing, Judge Faber said she has had enough humiliation. Maybe she got off scot-free because her father is Judge Hutchison. Taxpayers’ money is gone and the Beckley Police also got the short end of the stick. I guess it is who you know.
