House of Delegates will keep losing seats

The good ol’ boy network is slowly getting busted up in this state with new politicians. Two years from now more seats will be lost in the House of Delegates, because of them doing very little. They continue using politics to control everything in this state.

During the 2012 legislative session Rick Thompson and his gang allowed over 2,000 bills to go dead in committees. Never came to the floor for a vote.

They don’t care about the economy. All they care about is themselves. They will continue putting the state millions of dollars in the red for political gain. That might be the best thing that ever happens, because when the state has no money to operate with, their wasteful spending will stop.

In 2014 there are going to be changes in the House of Delegates. Then maybe politicians will step up to the plate and pass some critical bills that are needed to lead the state of West Virginia to prosperity. Things like tort reform, education reform, and judicial reform.

Children paying for evil and straying from God

This is my 2 cents on gun control. Assault rifles: These are guns primarily designed to kill the most amount of people in the least amount of time. Outside a military combat situation, they should be banned.

Some say this gun is used for “sport.” Well, some others also say that dog fighting is a sport but that is illegal. Just ask Michael Vick.

Violent video games: Parents do not need to buy children these games that depict prostitutes and policeman being murdered. Spend time with your children and stop using these games as baby-sitters.

Mental health background checks: Establish a database that identifies anyone under a psychiatrist’s care that has a proclivity toward violence.

Movies: Boycott all movies whose major theme is murder. Right now there is a movie called “A Bullet to the Head” starting Feb. 6, at theaters. Hollywood has a hand in this violence, too.

This nation has gotten too close to evil and too far away from God. And it is the children of this country that is paying the price.
