Thanks for efforts to keep everyone safe during the Boy Scout Jamboree

Many, many thanks to the West Virginia (and other) State Police, Department of Highways personnel and the contracted transportation management company who all collaborated to keep traffic flowing during the Boy Scout Jamboree 2013.

The bright orange event traffic signs, the strategically placed electronic signs and the many police vehicles with flashing blue lights helped to minimize disruptions for those of us who live and/or work in the Raleigh/Fayette area.

The advanced media coverage about possible road alerts was also helpful for locals dealing with the khaki invasion.

Thanks again for all the hours of hard work that helped to keep us safe.
