DAR shouldn’t have to buy chair for veteran

Saw in the paper where the Daughters of the American Revolution are raising money for an all-terrain chair for a wounded veteran. It’s great. It should not be necessary.

Our government is giving away money, in the billions, to those who did not earn it, nor do they want to earn it. They want free phones, free rent, free food, free everything because the American people OWE it to them.

We give away billions to foreign governments trying to buy their love. It ain’t gonna happen!

I have a novel thought. Give it to people who actually work for a living, who actually LOVE this country, who bled and died for this country and who came back from a war broken and in need of their country’s help.

Mr. President, congressmen, senators, open your eyes and see who really counts in this world. Can’t you see anything but yourself? Can’t you see at all?

I am getting more disgusted with every elected person in Washington by the day, but you know what? They don’t give a darn. They really don’t.

I pray daily for my country but it might be to late for that prayer.
