Unless we return to Truth, horror awaits
“What is truth?” A man named Pilate once asked Jesus the question that so many are unable to answer. The “Truth” was standing before Pilate in the flesh.
The truth is now revealed in a book that many of us have somewhere in our homes, often unread and unheeded. Not one word has ever been proven untrue. The word of God, the Holy Bible, not only tells us who we are, and why we are here, but it tells us of the consequences of turning from God and His Word.
We have almost become numb to the horror stories of corruption in every level of society, from the high level officials of religion and government to drug crazed demon-infested people raping and killing family members. This is the fruit of a people going their own way, following their deceived heart, rejecting their Creator’s revelation of His person revealed in His Son.
We can believe in Santa Claus, that everyone is going to heaven, and astrology guides our future, but that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ... is too radical.
We can believe that it is good to kill the unborn, expect good health and stuff our bodies with junk food, but that all of us will give an account to God for the life we lived ... surely that is not true!
Unless we as a nation return to Truth, deception, drugs, violence, disasters, unspeakable horror are sure to come.
“Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
It’s our biblical duty to stand against murder
In dismay I read the boarder baby article the other day and then had my wife read it; she too was disheartened.
How could someone think it’s not our biblical duty to stand up against murder? Would this individual want someone to intervene if another was going to take his life or would he not want us “to be a busy body”?
It is true a woman should have control of her body, but not when it involves taking the life of another body that cannot speak up for itself. I do feel sorry for the baby not getting the mother’s attention in the first days of its life, but I am also confident this baby has good adoption chances and the probability of leading a good life!
As far as judgment of a woman. The gentleman is correct, she will be judged by God and not me. But I will be judged also for idly letting this take place with my tax dollars. I would rather them use my taxes for caring for the baby and getting it adopted than taking its life!
I liked the Bible quote the person used that says “Let none of you suffer as a murderer” and like I said, when it involves my tax dollars I, too, am responsible to God to speak up!
I know some feel as a Democrat I am not supposed to take this stand, but I always have and always will and most of us in West Virginia feel the same in regard of the matter of abortion. Have the baby; the Lord will take care of it and you!
