I have a set amount that is automatically taken out of my checking account each month. November’s charges were doubled. I called and asked and they said that when I had called for phone repair last month someone had tacked on inside wire maintenance plan and asked if I had requested it. I told them no, the phone repair was on their phone lines; they didn’t even come in my yard much less in my house to repair the phone. I take care of the inside wire maintenance. They said that someone had requested the inside wire maintenance charge. They reluctantly said they would remove the charge. But I will check my bill each month as always. Always check your utility bills closely for any strange charges and call the companies and check on any charges that you don’t understand.
