Austin, Bailey named to All Big 12 First Team

Austin also co-special teams POY; Smith, Madsen on second team

— Tavon Austin was named Co-Special Teams Player of the Year and earned two spots on the All Big 12 first team offense at wide receiver and as a kick/punt return specialist.

The honors were released by the Big 12 Wednesday afternoon. Stedman Bailey joined Austin on the first team offense at wide receiver.

Quarterback Geno Smith was named to the second team offense along with offensive lineman Joe Madsen.

No other Mountaineers were honored.
