The City of Mount Hope is sending kids into classrooms with a Back-to-School Bash Community Water Party.
The party will feature a water slide, a bouncy house, water balloon toss, slip-n-slide, sprinklers, corn hole, disc dunk and unpoppable bubbles. Kids may bring their own bikes.
Everyone is encouraged to bring towels and sunscreen, coordinators stated.
Donations of school supplies are gladly accepted, according to event coordinators, but the party is free to Mount Hope residents.
The City of Mount Hope is partnering with the Mount Hope Family Friendly Community Project and the Mount Hone Children’s Health Council to host the Back to School Bash.
The party is funded through a grant from Carelink and will be held Aug. 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Mount Hope Municipal Stadium.
