Many services open a portion of Christmas Eve

Christmas is the perfect time for giving, family and relaxing. It’s also the not-so-perfect time to remember that you didn’t send out your cable bill or pay off your parking tickets.

If you have some last-minute business before the holidays, don’t worry. Many businesses will still be open Christmas Eve.

In Raleigh County, the courthouse will close at noon on Christmas Eve, but will be closed on Christmas Day. The UPS Store in Beckley will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Christmas Eve, but closed on Christmas Day. The main post office in Beckley will be closing at noon Tuesday and will be closed all day on Christmas Day.

In Fayette County, the courthouse will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Christmas Eve, but will be closed on Christmas Day. The main post office in Fayetteville will be open during regular hours, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24, and will be closed all day on Christmas Day,  

In Greenbrier County, the courthouse will be closed all day Christmas Eve, with the exception of circuit clerk, prosecuting attorney and magistrate court, and on Christmas Day. The Lewisburg Post Office will close at noon on Christmas Eve and be closed all day on Christmas Day.

In Nicholas County, the courthouse will close at noon on Christmas Eve and be closed all day on Christmas Day. The post office in Summersville will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Christmas Eve, but closed on Christmas Day.

In Monroe County, the courthouse will close at noon on Christmas Eve and will not reopen until Dec. 30. The Union Post Office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

In Wyoming County, the courthouse will be closed on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. The Pineville Post Office closes at noon on Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas Day.

In Summers County, the courthouse is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Keep in mind that each post office has its own hours. If your post office isn’t one of those listed, give them a call to find their holiday business hours.

For banking, all City National Bank locations are closed Christmas Day and will close at noon on Christmas Eve.

All United Bank locations are closed Christmas Day and close at noon Christmas Eve.

All First Community Bank locations are closed Christmas Day and close at noon Christmas Eve.

All BB&T locations are closed Christmas Day and close at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

All Chase Bank locations are closed Christmas Day and close at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
