McCoy tops 300 yards, scores five times as Webster beats Braxton

UPPER GLADE — Chance McCoy ran for five touchdowns and 301 yards as Webster County kept its playoff hopes alive with a 32-10 win over Braxton County.

McCoy carried the ball 30 times for the Highlanders, who rang up 437 offensive yards. End Tim Miller caught two passes for 75 yards.

Webster (5-4) plays at Pocahontas County Friday.

CLEAR FORK — Junior quarterback Eric Bailey ran for two touchdowns and passed for another as Westside rolled to the win.

Bailey finished with 176 yards on the ground and another 49 through the air.

Matt Lambert added a touchdown and gained 93 yards for the Renegades.

Summers quarterback Tim Wynes threw for two TDs and ran for a third.

Westside, 5-4 and still in the playoff chase, will host Sherman Nov. 2
