Blixt struggling early in second round

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — Following his six-under par round Thursday, first-round leader and defending Greenbrier Classic champion Jonas Blixt said ‘it’s hard to have good days everyday.’

His round today is a sign of just how difficult it is as the Swede has fallen 13 spots in six holes and is now four-under for the tournament.

Blixt has hit the ball well, but his putter is not helping him any.

He three-putted for bogey on both the par-3 third and par-4 fourth.

Blixt will have to have a strong finish to keep his streak of sub-par rounds going at the Classic.

He’s yet to shoot worse than 67 in any of his rounds on the Old White TPC.
