'Sweet Grass' concert planned


— Mountain Fever recording artist Sweet Potato Pie has been entertaining audiences for over a decade with its classy blend of bluegrass, country and gospel music mixed together in a style called “sweet grass.”

Ivy & Stone is pleased to present Sweet Potato Pie at 7:30 p.m. March 9 at Nicholas County High School in Summersville.

This all-female band has carved out a place for itself among the bluegrass community with original tunes, old classics and entertaining stage shows. The band’s unique sound revolves around their sparkling three-part harmonies.

Advance sale tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be $3 more at the door on the night of the performance. Family tickets of two adults and two or more children can be purchased at the door for $35. (Family ticket sales cannot be guaranteed in the case of a sold-out event.)

Call for special group rates for civic organizations, clubs and schools when 10 or more attend an event.
