'Fanning the Flame' marriage seminar will kick off Sunday

LEWISBURG — Rhema Christian Center welcomes international ministers Dennis and Julie Heber as they present “Fanning the Flame,” a marriage seminar open to couples in the congregation and community.

Pastor Stewart Farley remarks, “Marriage seminars are not just for those relationships that are in trouble, but are a great way for any couple to make a good marriage better.  Polishing communication skills to resolve conflict and form a life vision together is a wonderful way to live and grow. There is no better gift to give your children than to see their parents model a solid marriage.”

Fanning the Flame kicks off Sunday with sessions scheduled at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Hebers will lead participants with humor and sensitivity through topics like:

- Men Are From Mars - Women Are from Visa (Understanding the differences)

- How to Have A Good Fight (Conflict Resolution)

- In Search of Victoria’s Secret (Restoring Sizzle to your Marriage)

- How to Safeguard Your Marriage (High Fidelity Marriage)

Dennis and Julie Heber are Bible teachers and world missionary evangelists.  They are founders of Bible Revivals Inc., a nonprofit mission and evangelistic ministry, and instructors at several Bible colleges.

Their ministry has taken them from the inner-city streets, tents and churches of Cleveland, Ohio, to the shores and doors of places and people around the world, preaching in more than 50 countries.

The Hebers are confident the congregation will learn a lot and have fun during this seminar.

“Julie and I look forward to our time at Rhema Christian Center.”

Child care will be provided during all sessions.
