Glen Fork pastor, wife to travel to Israel

Pastor Darrell and Magel Stapleton will leave Nov. 25 for Israel to show support to the Nation of Israel.

This will make Pastor Stapleton’s 15th trip to Israel, most of which has been taking groups to Israel.

He works as a state representative to the Ministry to Israel in the Churches of God and also works with Yad Ezra V’ Shulamit in Jerusalem.

While in Jerusalem the Stapletons will be assisting Yad Ezra in boxing food baskets for the orphans and elderly for Shabbat.

Stapleton is senior pastor at the Glen Fork Church of God, president of the Wake Up Call on WJLS-AM every Sunday at 1 p.m. and on New Beginning TV every Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.

Pastor Stapleton was chosen in 2006 via the Israeli Ministry of Tourism to monitor the “safety and calmness” in the Lebanon attack in North Israel.

Pastor Stapleton will be taking a group to Israel in March 2014. Lester Church of God’s pastor and his wife, the Rev. Ernest and Kitty Francis, will be joining the Stapletons in Israel.
