Experienced and new scrapbookers alike will enjoy a one-day scrapbooking workshop that will be offered Nov. 3 by New River Community and Technical College. The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Workforce West Virginia Building, Northside Drive, Summersville.
Instructor Leslie Baughman will teach new trends and designs. Students will be given a variety of materials to use including a new page layout. A variety of tools will be available for use and purchase, including a Cricut die-cut machine, ink pads, stamps, embossing folders, papers, stickers and more.

Over the last five years, the school has grown to in excess of 250 music students, learning everything from piano to clarinet. The instructors are set to go mobile, converting the old Raleigh County Public Library Bookmobile into a Music Mobile, a traveling classroom for teaching underserved students in rural areas.
