Peterstown author set to release second book

Writer’s first book earns spotlight from popular Amazon.com

— Jennifer Howard, whose debut contemporary romantic fiction work, “The Healing Heart,” is an Amazon.com recommended read, says she is both excited and humbled to be releasing her latest book, “The Steps to Karma.”

The book will launch online Sept. 11 and she will donate a portion of sales between then and Sept. 30 to Tuesday’s Children.

The charity serves all those directly impacted by the events of Sept. 11, 2001 — children, families, 9/11 responders and veterans — through life-changing programs and services, according to its website.

Howard says she feels extremely blessed to be living in such an amazing country as the United States of America and to be doing something she loves.

Because of this, she wants to give back to an organization that obviously uplifts and benefits those who both need and deserve support.

“The Steps to Karma will be available in e-book form on Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, the iBookstore of iTunes and Kobo, as well as in paperback from Amazon.com. Direct links to these sites will be available after Sept. 11 on Howard’s website, http://www.jennifer-howard.net.

Howard has been writing for more than 20 years. She likes to incorporate humor into her writings because, she said, life is a funny adventure.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in history from Concord College, now Concord University.
